Jewelry Products The Rishmawi sisters, as mentioned on the recycled glass page, are also our primary jewelry producers. Their business began when one sister decided to pursue using her natural talent in the arts in a practical way. She studied jewelry-making at college for nine months, and then taught each of her four sisters how to create jewelry and glass handicrafts. Each woman is married with children and their work directly supports their growing families. These sisters have taken years to perfect their art, which is seen in their unique and original pieces. Much of their art is strongly symbolic to the Palestinian culture, as they dip olive leaves in silver to make necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets.
